    DX11/10 Chams Logging

I am sure most of you are aware of this method of logging chams:

In dx11/10 I was able to generate shaders, but I saw no way to generate/apply textures. The problem with pixel shaders is they like to blow out colors and depth hack. I am by no means an expert at dx11, so please excuse me if I am overlooking something easy.

In order to use the above method we used textures on dx9, with shaders its nearly impossible to gauge the changes in color. I either need to find a way to use shaders in a way that will work or find an alternative. Any help is appreciated.

I'd also like to know. I've seen it done in Battlefield through the game engine.

I can generate a texture but applying it is overcomplicated and I haven't been able to get it to work yet...
