Real men reverse windows binaries.

Reversing the Windows binary takes longer.
By using the Mac binary as a reference, reversing the Windows binary becomes a little less 8-ball magic and a little more educated guessing.

I bought a very well built PC with great battery life with a unix based operating system that I dual booted with windows 7. I knew EXACTLY what I was getting into, and I am happy with my purchase.
I am a loyal windows/pc user, yet I have great respect for a company that can make a product that doesn't fall apart after a few years.
Haters gonna hate.

Then you haven't been to a repair shop then.
I fix macs on a daily basis.
HDD failures, hinges break, keyboards fail, LCDs crack, battery expansions (where it gets fat), charging ports break, etc etc.
They break just like any other crap manufactured laptop. In ranking order of laptops I repair per quantity.
Mac, HP, Compaq, Toshiba, Dell, IBM

Please explain to me how a magsafe charging port breaks.
I don't abuse my stuff, HDD failures happen in all computers... My hinges in my old laptop were broken beyond belief after a few years of what I would consider to be light use (not even daily... maybe twice a week at best). Apple products are built better, either way I wanted a well built machine (not plastic fantastic) and I wanted OS X to do iphone development without dealing with vms or hacky methods of developing on a pc.
Why the fuck is anyone bringing their apple products to you when they can go to an apple store where apple usually gives you the benefit of the doubt with repairs.

They are built just the same as any other laptop.
Enjoy your $1,500 spent of absolute crap.

Sorry for offtopic, but @!Slrig: What's your opinion about Sony VAIO or Asus laptops? Been happy with my VAIO but the CPU fan is really loud, any alternative laptop with high-end specs you would recommend?

I've never had problems with my Dells. I have 4 of them, all from an era of their own. One from 2003, 2006, 2009 and I just got one for X-mas. They all work great and never had a problem with any of them.
I haven't seen a lot of ASUS, nor has any of them come through the shop I work at. I have an ASUS motherboard, and have had problems with the EMI/RFI shielding. Their customer service is crap and takes them 3 weeks to process a warranty (excluding shipping time), which all they did was send me a new one anyway.
I've noticed a lot of the Vaios we get in die from the BGA cracking, which is usually caused by overheating.
One of my buddies who just got back from Afghanistan said that a lot of people from his unit use Alien Ware over there to play WoW and shit. I've never personally seen or owned an Alien Ware, but have heard good things.

Thanks! I'll look into Alien Ware then.
edit: Quick skimming through their website, seems that their laptops come with SSD RAID-0 and even CrossFireX on gfx card. I think I just found my next laptop, thanks heaps \o_ *fingers crossed it won't overheat*

Just so you know Alienware is actually a subsidiary of Dell.

Last I checked aluminum was a much more solid building material than plastic. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Don't knock it till you've tried it, all of your arguments against macs can happen to ANY laptop, and most were user error.

My asus was great, good value for the hardware I got. I wanted one capable of mobile gaming, which is part of the reason why I got sucky battery life... (being honest here my mac has comparatively better specs if you take into account what hardware was out at the time).
Anyways, if you want an asus buy it from 1toppc.com. It looks like a scam site, but I got my laptop in a very timely fashion, and I ordered a battery about 6 months later from them with no issues.

So just because they put an 1/8th of an inch thick of metal surrounding the laptop, that's going to stop... bad HDD manufacturing?
The logic is not there.

I dont care if the hdd fails... The sooner it fails the sooner I have more reason to put an SSD in.
I bought a mac and I am happy with my purchase. Shut the fuck up and enjoy the mac bins.
