I've heard from a friend that VAC can't detect vtable hooks. (The friend is a real nub, doesn't even know c++, but he does a lot of searching on the internet and just spat out what he finds.)
Is this true?

Yeah, modify the vtable of instances and you'll be fine; Last thing you want to do is, obviously, modify the original vtable.

I think it's kind of funny how many VAC proof methods of hooking are publicly available that still haven't been detected.
